Our regular check in time is 4pm and our check out time is 11am.
We do try to accommodate an earlier check in whenever it is requested. We just can’t promise one as it largely depends upon the condition that the previous guest left the cabin in and how quickly our cleaners are able to whip the cabin back into shape. We will contact guests on the day of check in as soon as the cleaners/maintenance have completed their time at the cabin.
Late check outs are rarely available but we will consider them on a case by case basis.
Yes. We fully expect that you will leave the cabin in great shape, but our cleaners do still work hard to make sure linens are laundered, surfaces are cleaned across the property, items are maintained appropriately, and the cabin is staged well for the next guest.
In both Hocking and Vinton Counties, we have to charge guests a 6% Lodging Tax. 3% gets paid to the respective county and the other 3% gets paid to the township where the cabin is located. We do not profit off of this, it is just something that we pass through to the county/township.
Yes, each of our cabins have a private hot tub for guests to use during their stay.
Yes, each cabin has a gas grill and we will provide the propane tank for use during your stay.
Yes, we provide all linens, including bathroom towels and hot tub towels during your stay.
No. Parties/events are not allowed and may result in the reservation being cancelled, guests vacated, and without refund.
Each cabin has a well equipped kitchen that has all the necessary items for preparing most meals. If you are wondering about a particular kitchen item, feel free to reach out to us and we can let you know if it is available.
Yes. Each cabin has WiFi available for guests during their stay. We have been fortunate that our Wifi has been very reliable, though please note that the cabins are located in rural areas and there is always the possibility of outages, particularly during periods of inclement weather.
Creekwood and Paradise Falls cabins do have laundry and guests are welcome to use the washers/dryers there. The Madison cabin does not have laundry available.
We do not provide firewood at this time due to large piles of wood tending to attract critters (something we don’t want guests to have to deal with). Many locals sell stacks of firewood by the roadside, typically on the honor system, and usually in the $5-10 range.
Each cabin does have cameras facing outwards at the entryway. This offers increased safety/security for both guests and us as owners.
The main thing to know is that Hocking Hills is a rural area with roads that can require 4WD/AWD when snowy/icy. We recommend having that as an option during the winter period in case of inclement weather. We will have driveways plowed when needed and the county is usually good about clearing roads in a relatively quick manner.
The full Rental Agreement can be found here. Making a reservation constitutes agreement by the Guest to adhere to the Rental Agreement.
